Empowering Athletes, Reducing Gambling Risks

The following 6 modules are some short elearings on gambling harm prevention. They have been designed based on a combination of research conducted amongst the members of the 8 players associations representing 5 major team sports in 5 different European countries from the EU Athletes, alongside EPIC Global Solutions, the trusted global partner for gambling harm prevention.

Each module will take less than 10 minutes to complete, and as part of the learning there are videos with former professional athletes who talk through their lived experience of gambling harm. It is suggested that you complete the modules in the order below, but you are able to return to any of them at any time.

Even if you do not gamble, these modules will explain why you are more at risk of harm as a professional athlete, how the gambling actions of others may put you at risk, as well as how to spot the signs of harm in yourself or others and what to do about it.
